The videos were corrupted two weeks ago. They have been re-encoded and published by the Channel9 team today. The streaming videos and download links should be good now.

Yaniv,
Can you please download the video using one of the links next to the video (High Quality WMV, MP4, etc)? I'm guessing that the problem you're encountering is due to insufficient bandwidth. Downloaded video shouldn't have those issues.
Solutions - Data Modeling
The player uses Smooth Streaming which will have great clarity when your bandwidth is good and will change to a lower resolution when there is not enough bandwidth available in your end.
If you're consistently having problems, the recommended alternative is to save & watch the "High Quality WMV" file which is the first link right next to the player. For this video, it would be http://files.ch9.ms/ch9/d0e2/9567823f-a8a4-4a35-8376-9e6d0159d0e2/newCRMdatamodeling_2MB_ch9.wmv

CRM Portal Accelerators & Advanced Developer Extensions - Part 1
I'll be posting it in the next day or two. You can check out all the Channel9 videos on accelerators here: https://channel9.msdn.com/tags/CRM+Accelerators/
The Dynamics Duo talk about CRM and Office Business Applications (OBA)
There is a 3-part MSDN arcticle on customizing the ribbon here: https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa338202.aspx and it should help you with the basics of Ribbon development as well.
To connect Word Taskpane to CRM, we have a great hands on lab as part of the CRM 4.0 Developer Ramp-up kit here: https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dd393296.aspx. In Lab2, there are detailed instructions on how a developer can connect the MSWord pane to CRM and pull information onto the document directly.
Hope this helps.
