Lynn mrs.marentette seeking sustainable innovation

Niner since 2007

I'm interested in accessible off-the-desktop natural-user interfaces and UX/interaction design that supports collaboration, communication, information visualization, knowledge-sharing, education, creativity, and leisure. I'm also interested in how new technologies can support the the intervention and prevention of learning, social, behavioral, and mental health, and health problems. I returned to school at mid-life to take computer courses, initially to learn how to make engaging educational games for use on hand-held devices & interactive whiteboards. More recently, I focused some of my graduate projects on interactive applications for large displays. I'm interested in how people interact with screens of all sizes. Interactive multimedia is one of my passions.

  • CES 2010: NUI with Bill Buxton

    Great video and discussion!

Bill Buxton is an inspiration, and a very wise man.   I think it is important to ensure that applications and interfaces allow for flexibility and multi-modal interaction.  This is something that Bill Buxton has worked towards over his career.  It is not surprising that he has a background in music!
