Thanks for the interview, Robert!
Here's another post that points to an Illustrator tool on CodePlex and a couple of Flash to XAML conversion tools. Since that post, I've also become aware of a new tool called
SilverFlash, though I haven't been able to try it yet.
These are always fun to do. Thanks for the great discussion, Charles!
I'd like to point out a few things that were mentioned in the video:
Jennifer mentioned a $200 Early Bird discount. While the Early Bird is a great deal, we just launched an even better deal today that lasts for the next 200 registrations: use the RSVP code "MIXspecial1" and sign-up
for only $795 USD.
As mentioned near the end of the interview, please let us know how the current economic climate is affecting how you think about attending events over the next year. If there's anything we can do to tweak our event format to help you out, we're all-ears!
Thanks, everyone, for attending PDC2008! Jennifer and I enjoyed recording these 10- (or 9-) minute weekly updates for you, and the feedback has been fantastic. As you may have heard, Jennifer and I are going to continue the series for our
MIX09 event in March (after we take a short break). We loved meeting face-to-face with those of you who were able to attend the event. Thanks for coming up and giving us your comments and suggestions. See you next time!
Captain JiNX...sounds like you know exactly what you're doing. DaleRoss...JiNX won our sixth Hard Hat Challenge, and unfortunately, he can't win a second time, so you still have time. I'll hold off on the hints unless others would like a couple.
dnjake...glad to hear that the PDC05 session recordings were useful! It just so happens that I was the guy behind that project. You're right that it took us 3-4 weeks to get the recordings online. I remember that our bandwidth usage was insane. Brian has
upped the game with his 24-hour turnaround time. Truly amazing.
