    I'm a frontend developer. Neither C nor C++ made the low-level programming interesting to me.

    So far the absence of garbage collector sounds like it has a good efficiency since there will be no reclaiming of allocated memory.

    Memory safety will be a big advantage when programming for sectors like banking.

    Anyway 'Rustacean' sounds crusty!
