thanks a lot.(a)
thanks a ton :)
Sir, this is very helpful. I'm an amateur programmer in VB.Net but this has really helped me learn C# and also improve my knowledge of VB.Net. I hope to conclude these lessons and be a pro in VB.Net and C#. Thank you
I got it wow~ 12 and 75. I'm happy with my work.^^
Thanks Bob, great lesson!
Thks alot, this is very helpful. I have been wanting to learn c# for a while and you are teaching the basics very well.
You're the man. You make learning C# fun. As it should be.
Bob, why do you always have to end the code with Console.Readline();
@JosephCampbell, if he doesn't, the console window won't stay open. The "Console.Readline()" method basically awaits input from the user. In this case, it's the ENTER key. This way, you can see your results and close the window when you're done. Try it yourself. If you comment out the "Console.Readline();" line and then run the program, you'll notice that the console will only stay open for less than a second and then close. The program still works, but it just won't stay open for you to see the "Hello World."
@JosephCampbell: ^^ ...thanks @Steve:
thank you very much Bob I learned from you so many programming issues things, but I want to say why there is no videos about windows application like forms, windows controls and so on.

Thank you Bob, learning a lot from you!
This blew my mind 0.0 I didn't understand some of it. Like int myFirstTry = x.String() + y; or int mySecondTry = x + int.Parse(y);
you make the best videos on C#!!!!!!!!!!!!:)
i am really lucky to find a teacher like Bob Taylor online
Thank you Bob. A few months ago I have started learning Java, and I am doing it steel. Now I am following your lessons of C# Windows Phone App. You are giving me a very nice guide to learn The C# &... I think both of them are object oriented programming Categories. Can you please tell me the difference between them ?
Thank you again.
can i work on these videos with VS2012 express for windows 8?
@BobTabor: Bob I think you have missed the explicit way to convert from integer to string! Me and others would be very grateful if you can illustrate us, thanks.
hi,
bob i like your expression its interesting
Hi, I learned programming using Actionscript 3.0 (AS3) language for Flash, I see it is much similar to C#. I developed some games and apps on android Google app store using Flash AS3. I have watched some videos in this series and I'm keen to watch all of them, I hope to understand it well. Thanks Bob for these amazing tutorials.
Hi,
In minute 27, mySecondTry is defined as an integer, shouldn't it be defined as a string?
Thanks
great bt little slow pls
Thanks a lot! Really this lesson so far has been great. You embody everything that is good on the internet—sharing this much knowledge free of charge. You are making the world a better place!
Thank you for brilliant lessons and approach. I'm a total newbie and slightly intimidated. But I'm not giving up. Not yet anyway.
I have a huge problem as so far whenever I learned something new, I had to understand the basics. Here, I find it challenging because I do not understand every bit of code. But I am coming to term that it has to be like this.
I hope I will learn about parsing and casting because it is all very confusing. Thank you Bob for your time.
Hope I am not the only total newbie...
Thank's a Lot. Really, it is very good & easy to learn.
At 15:29 you typed "myFirstNane" lol.
But anyway I still enjoy it a lot
Thanks for making these informative tutorials!
Luv ya
