Microsoft Azure Diagnostics (WAD) enables you to collect diagnostic data from Cloud Services running in Microsoft Azure. WAD fulfills two new diagnostic gathering requirements introduced by the Microsoft Azure scale-out architecture:
- Save diagnostic data that would be lost during a reimaging of the instance.
- Provide a central repository for diagnostics from multiple instances. Using windows azure diagnostics, you can collect diagnostics data off of multiple instances at once
