    This is a brilliant video and cleared up a lot for me.

    I'm new to game development and found it confusing at the start with all the different paid/free tools out there and which tool is intended for what.

    I ended up with Inkscape for vector and Gimp for bitmaps but still had my doubts if that was the right choice.

    Seeing tutorials online about making texture maps in Inkscape added to the confusion but this video has finally clarified all this for me.
