I love how even Microsoft doesn't want to build mobile apps for its own mobile platform...
I'm really feel sorry for you Scott Hanselman, Jakub Jedryszek don't even mention UWP app with a word. I have seen you hold a lot of great talks about UWP, so it's sad that Microsoft developers seems to not have taken any notis of that.
Scott, I think you really should hold an mandatory UWP presentation for all Microsoft developers, because it seams that they don't now it exists.
When apps developed by Microsoft not include a UWP app, how can Microsoft event think developers out there would care?
@snertingen: we are working on UWP app! Michael mentioned it during his talk: https://channel9.msdn.com/Shows/Azure-Friday/Azure-Mobile-App-Overview
@jakubjedryszek: That's fine, but the signal that Microsoft give Developers when saying "we now release iOS and Android app, and we starting working on an UWP app" is that UWP app is so hard to do, but iOS and Android is so easy. It's really a shame that Microsofts internal developers don't front their own system, so it motivates other developers to do UWP.
It's very nice that Microsoft is a xPlaform company and have some great tools to create xPlatform apps, but it would be very cool to se Microsoft give their own system som real love and focus!
