In this episode of Data Exposed, Scott Klein is joined by David Makogon - Azure Architect in DX Stategic Engagements team at Microsoft. Today Scott and David talk Graph database, a lesser known NoSQL storage option that is quickly gaining popularity. David helps us understand the differences between relational and non-relational (NoSQL) databases, and where graph databases fit into the NoSQL picture. David spends several minutes explaining the power behind graph databases with nodes and relationships then shows us how easy it is to use and query graph databases by showing a powerful demo of building and querying a graph database using Neo4j. It gets even better when David shows us the awesome visualizer that provides a very nice relational look at query results in a graphical format.
