Hanselminutes on 9 - Phil Haack on the ASP.NET MVC 1.0 Release

9 minutes, 32 seconds

This Hanselminutes on 9 video was filmed at the MVP Summit on the Redmond Campus. I was on campus for the week with my trusty Flip Video camera and I pulled Phil Haack outside and demanded the real scoop on ASP.NET MVC. I beat him about the head and ears and asked questions like "what qualifies you to be a PM at Microsoft!" If you like this kind of hard-hitting journalism, tell the folks at Channel 9 to give "HanselminutesOn9" its own Tag or Category for Pete's Sake! Wink

This is they style of interview that started Channel 9, and what really makes it great!

yeah, i'd definitely spend more time on this site if was always posting interesting insider content like this.
  • Scott as always, awesome candit interviews  I enjoy these more than the tripod interviews.  This interview is more of the, "this camera is heavy, where can i brace my leg", rather than the, we-can-see-that-marketing-is-pulling-the-strings interview.  It's nice to see the curtain pulled away and that Microsoft employees are in-fact people, and not pin-ups.

The one question I have is, how many people work on ASP.NET MVC?  I know it's more than just Phill, but it would be cool to know an exact number  or exact-if number (if you allowed to release that).

p.s. I don't understand why i sign my post all the time, I use my real name on here...
  • This is an awesome video.  I think that this is quality journalism at its best. I run a bird toys website and trust me I have time for this kind of stuff. This is where I come to get all of my information regarding Microsoft.  You guys are the best.
