  I don't see how .NET MAUI relates to Silverlight, considering that .NET MAUI is the evolution of Xamarin.Forms, now built on .NET 6, and also Xamarin has been around for years in the .NET world.

  We could safely assume, that Blazor is trying to be be what Silverlight wanted to be -> browser apps (SPA) written in .NET.

  Are there any plans for supporting Linux at some point?
