What is the performance hit on a service for enabling profiler and or app insights in general?
@nilunit: please use https://docs.loganalytics.io/.
Overhead with default collection is negligible. Since you control how much you collect, there is always an opportunity to enable too much collection.
Please do share your experiences, positive and otherwise. We have feedback built right into the App Insight service, going straight to the product team.
If you want to know more about the profiler, you can find a video dedicated to performance investigations using App Insights at https://channel9.msdn.com/events/speakers/Michael-Milirud
