I too love the WP7 ui, if i had to change anything mabe have rounded coners for the tiles but obviously that is small potatoes i love the phone.
i Agree in i too love the WP7 ui
Although they look similar but actually I like WP7's look more than Windows 8's look because it's dark and doesn't hurt my eyes at all. If you're a developer and work at least 10 hours a day you know what I'm talking about...
On a side note, I wanna say to paul that it wasn't a wise decision to compete with laura on twitter. You had better chance in scribble.
Paul needs a little more makeup. Maybe someone can make a WP7 app that can overlay makeup on camera pics of people so Paul can see how much better he would look with makeup.
I'm so happy to hear that I got a mention on this week's show... I was waiting for the longest time! I even wondered HOW MANY FROGS would I have to lick before I got a shout out. I guess now we all know the answer is 18.... KIDDING! I only licked 13!
METRO finally is getting the attention it deserves. I loved it all the way back to the Zune and now I just can't get enought! I'm even using MetroTwit wich is amazing!
The Bill-Bill (Gates-Clinton) combo is amazing... In this day and age EVERYBODY should have access to technology... specially kids who are students. I think as a generation this is what we can offer them and who better than Microsoft to do it. Right?
Also, @DarkSilence, as much as I love binary, it would take FOREVA' to read a comment HAHA. Seriosly, could u imagine... The typos?..
@Icarus. PAUL doesn't need makeup he needs sun ! I like to think that I was the first to bring this up when I called him PALE (I'm really SORRY man... but u urself said it was "THE BEST COMMENT") but the truth is he looks fine.
Mayb the lighting is bad... but just on him not on Laura (She looks gorgeous dahhhling! ahaha).
Have a wonderful day everybody!
Everything needs a TL;DR these days doesn't it. :sigh:
The TL;DR from my comment is a) it's TSRB*L*KE (why does everyone think it's an i and that I'd only capitlize one letter?)
b) STEM is important, but the study likely blends the benefits that advance degrees (MS/MA/PhDs) have in genaral with those from specifically STEM fields. Having an Advance degree in most fields (even Non-STEM) seems to outweigh merely having STEM degree (thus a PhD in bioethics trumps my BS in biology in terms of earning potential). Though there are tons of variables to consider, admittedly.
(Yes, I realize the irony of the fact that I used skills learned during my time in a STEM field to deconstruct a study about the benefits of STEM education, which does get to Laura's point that a basic STEM eduction is defintely a good thing. I just get worried when people think a BA/BS in STEM is the only key to making large amounts of money.)
*Bioethics is basically a philopshy of science they way I study it, does that make it a STEM field?
