Ping 131: Kinect Star Wars, Microsoft in Austin, OneNote for Droids, Kinect helps people…

This week we are all very excited to be joined by Larry Larsen (of Defrag fame). Larry joined the Ping team to share his opinion and theories on these stories and more:
Facebook app for Windows Phone [02:38]
Capacitive touch screen through your pants [05:38]
Game Publisher rankings [10:50]
Yes Laura you can change the pic(s) used on the Picture tile for your WP. Just browse your pics and long-press one or more favourite pics and choose Add to Favourites. It is the favourites (if you have any set) that will show as your picture tile backgrounds.
Oh that is going to be weird in meetings, it might look like you are fiddling with yourself when trying to message someone back awkward!
Awesome to see Larry on the show. You have pulled out some great co-hosts Laura, maybe Paul should go away more often
How is WP app name squating going to be prevented?

Now this is the type of sucking up that will get a mention.
If Paul does not come back....am just going to boycott PING and go watch Robert Green on Visual Studio Toolbox fulltime.
@Laura you can control what pictures to be shown on tile. All you have to do is mark photos as favourites and WP7 automatically scrolls through the favourites to display on the picture tile.

Didn't I say that in the 1st post? Well at least im not the only one who found that feature
@IRB: Oops! Sorry, usually I read all the comments at end of the show, but when I heard Laura saying that we can not controls the pictures being shown on the tile, I was all eager to correct her! If Paul was on the show he would have corrected her immediately
@Prashant516: No worries, now that we have both told her maybe she'll have her pic hub sorted for next show

It is 4:10 PM CST Monday.....do you know what Laura and Paul are doing???.....ummmm
@Alex219267:not posting the new episode of ping that's for sure
Catching up to my late watching, but IIRC in the picture hube menu you can "Choose a background" which also then becomes your picture tile picture. This makes it sadly static though .
