Ping 150: BUILD, Office 13, Windows Phone dev portal, NFL & Microsoft

All the news that's fit to Ping about..we've got it. We give this to you:
Who is winning the gaming war? [04:29]
Outlook & SkyDrive updates [09:59]
Nice to see Nokia catching up to HTC. They've had the "Attentive Phone" thing (started out as an app, but with the 7.5 update it moved to an extension on the Settings screen) that has flip-to-silence, plus features like increasing ring volume if it's in your pocket, and flipping the phone over during a call to put it on speaker. It also does tethering.
Please bring the kitten in next week.
@Ian2:ooooh, good idea!
TMZ material @ 22:59.
Being a gentleman, I closed my eyes. I swear!
LOOL, nice ep.
For some reason, Laura doesn't seem that focused when Paul is talking, its funny.
And props to the editor! those in between thingys are fun!
I don't think it'd be too hard to make the flip-to-silence feature reliable on the Nokia. It already has a sensor to turn off the screen when you put it up to your face (or if you cover the screen with something).
So if you use that in combination with the accelerometer, then you should know when the phone has been flipped on its face.
Although, to be honest, it's not too hard to silence my Samsung Focus either. Just press down on the volume control.
Wow! Did not know it would stop vibrating on pick up. I felt sure Laura was going to win that one.
The feature I'd like in my next phone is an option where it can tell I'm moving in a car and doesn't ring. Like airplane mode but based on how fast I'm moving.
Does anyone know when I can find Ping fanfic?

Kitten Co-Host next week!
That vibrate thing is pretty sweet, nice tip Paul.
I'm assuming the Lumias still ring if they receive a call while it's upside down but if you pick it up and look at the screen THEN turn it over again the ringer will stop.

If you have the phone turned over, it WON'T ring, so you need to be careful. Missed called could be in-bound.
That's kinda dangerous.
