I don't get why Verizon (or any other carrier) wants to splash their logo on the front of a phone. The design of the phone is so beautiful, then the logos comes and ruins everything. My point is that I don't need to be reminded that it is a Nokia phone on the Verizon network. I know it is Nokia, and according to everything I've heard about Verizon there would be a large chance I would hate Verizon as well.

  • Unsubsidized, that skirt would cost $26,215 USD plus tax.

EDIT:  Wait, scratch that.  There aren't 35 phones on the skirt.  I count at least 42 that I can see.  Assuming there are double that, the skirt is worth $62,916.

  • Like the GO Really Fast button for the Motorcycle clip =)

For amount of Nokia Devices, 3rd paragraph on the link

"In partnership with designers and Fashion Fringe winners, Fyodor Golan, Nokia has created the world's first interactive skirt made up of 35 Nokia Lumia 1520 smartphones, each sporting a 20MP PureView camera and 6-inch screen."

Another awesome episode guys, thanks =D

  • I'm not sure I buy that number. I count at least 40 in the front view!

    Welcome back Ping!

Good show as always but #misslaurafoy

I like the looks of the Lumia icon but aside from the fact that I'm on att I'm still happy with my 1020. Mary Jo Foley tweeted something about the icon not getting the glance screen which would kill the deal for me. As updates come out the glance screen just keeps getting better. I'm also hooked on the wireless charging and it would be hard to go back to a phone without it.

  • Nice show, you're really trying hard to keep up with the weekly recording.(a)

I do like the new nokia phone.

Would have made the nokia lumia 1020's all reflect like a mirror.

AMA: why is mark mostly on the left side? Why do we always dont have to see the Devices you mention in @ the studio?

Please don't ever do the "hashtag" on video again. =:O

  • British people sometimes sound British when they sing. Have a listen to Ian Drury and Blockheads, Madness, the who, ... loads of others.

I guess some 'sound' American to sell music in the states.
