Ping 80: Office 365, Ozzie blogs, Oprah loves Kinect, Re-Tweeting Fail

On this episode of Ping, Paul and Laura broke past security to the main floor of the PDC on Microsoft Campus. Here's what they had to say:
Dean Hermuchovich? It's Mark Russinovich (Technical Fellow) being interviewed.
@windev: I was talking about Dean Hachamovitch...oops, I just sneezed.
Renderman on Azure? Wow, that is interesting. Usually I see MS advertise Azure as data center, but, renderman requires tons of processing power. So, that's the real cloud computing instead of cloud hosting.
I just finished all of the episodes, did not find (1, 2, 3) :(
....And I Love this show.
BTW Laura. You seemed different!!!
I like the use of stereo but in my view Laura is on the left but comes through the right speaker and Paul is on the right and comes through the left speaker.
It was nice seeing you in person! In real life Laura is even hotter and Paul is taller than you'd think.
As promised, here is the pic

Yeah, can't listen to this on headphones. =(
Hi Laura,
Avatar was created by New Zealand's WETA Workshop http://www.wetanz.com/
Same perople who did Lord of the Rings, District 9, and are workign on the upcomming two Hobbit movies.
Just thought you would like to know.
Duncan
It's sort of round-about and I'm sure just a slip of the tongue in the first place, but if you want to get technical, Weta Digital (the digital effects house that did the CG for Avatar, the above mentioned films, King Kong, I, Robot and others) does use Pixar's Renderman software (as do most FX studios) which is what is on Azure now.

I thought Avatar was created with Ubisoft as it is entirely cgi.
Edit: Actually I can't seemt to think where I heard/read that so just ignore me, probably talking rubbish as normal.
