Oh I remember the swimming in Hyper Sports on my spectrum, this Kinect version certainly looks much more slick
Good to see you back in the old studio, now I no longer need to wrestle my eye balls out of the back of my head because of your trippin' backdrops!
Oh and you should check out http://www.thefatduck.co.uk/ Heston Blumenthal for some great scientific cooking as well.
"Winter Games"? Yes, it would be quite difficult to swim while playing Winter Games, I suppose...
That would be great if you add english subtitles. Not everybody understands well speaking English language. I'm sure this will expand your listeners audotriya
@Windbag: Summer games...d'oh!
I'm hoping you two have a table in front of you, because it looks like Paul keeps looking down as his man junk for additional information.
The Summer/Winter games series where total button mashers. You could wear out joysticks playing those.
@Alex Dresko:I never ask Paul where he gets his info
Next episode: Spill the pea butter.. er beans.. on Windows 8.
@Laura10: So then you admit that Paul's junk talks to him? Most curious.
EDIT: Oh, yeah! The show -- totally forgot what happened after the cut to the "Turbaconstein" video. But I do wonder how long it'll be before Google actively takes steps to break any H.264 codec players in their browser updates... but mostly my mind is stuck on that cursed turkeymonster.
And the cook book? Sounds like Molecular Gastronomy, or as it's more commonly known "culinary mad science."
I think you should bring back the green screen - even if you have to take hostages! (Well ... maybe not.) The background you are now using seems kind of boring.
Here's a video in tribute to all the creeps out there, I believe you'll all enjoy!
P. Douglas
Haha nice you saw my post! As PDoug said, the green screen is alright, as long as we don't have flashing lights over the place that gives us headaches!
Rock on!
Observations
1st – glad the new/old look is back. I like it
2nd – with all the talk about gaming you just glazed over the idea of having a Ping Halo day/event. Paul talked about Halo a half dozen times (or is this the hint that it will never happen?)!
3rd – it seems that the links on the channel9 page are not in the order you talk about the topics
Hey!
where's the good timecode jump links ?!
Timecode links are very useful to skip all useless time-consuming talk.

If you want to skip all of the useless time-consuming talk, you might as well go directly to the articles
... but good point. I'll ask Laura and see if we can start doing the timecode thing.
7:47 Paul's face looks like this:
@Deno: Yeah I think the Halo matchup seems to have gone the way of the planet Reach itself
@IRB:I just totally pwnd Deno. You want some of this?
@Paul II:Oh you crazy Americans and your wonky time zones, I'm just getting out of bed for work
Sounds like that can of whoop-* will need to be opened at a weekend. My gamertag is IRB, what is yours and I'll send you an FR if you have room and you can challenge me when you see me online.

lol, all browsers except IE have moved away from closed source video codecs. microsoft bought a H.264 license (suckers!) and now they are realizing they bought a dying horse, ah sweat justice or karma (if you're into that)
Did you forget Safari? Besides, IE will support both H.264 and WebM, so who cares?
And Microsoft didn't just "buy" a H.264 license. It's a member of pool of patent owners for the technology. The pool consists of a who's who list of technology companies:
Apple Inc.
DAEWOO
Dolby Laboratories Licensing Corporation
Electronics and Telecommunications Research Institute
France Télécom, société anonyme
Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft zur Förderung der angewandten Forschung e.V.
Fujitsu Limited
Hitachi, Ltd.
Koninklijke Philips Electronics N.V.
LG Electronics Inc.
Microsoft Corporation
Mitsubishi Electric Corporation
NTT docomo
Nippon Telegraph and Telephone Corporation
Panasonic Corporation
Robert Bosch GmbH
Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd.
Scientific-Atlanta Vancouver Company
Sedna Patent Services, LLC
Sharp Corporation
Siemens AG
Sony Corporation
Ericsson
The Trustees of Columbia University in the City of New York
Toshiba Corporation
Victor Company of Japan, Limited
Gee, where's Google? Do you really think Google would be pushing WebM if they were part of that pool of patent owners?
What I want to hear on Ping!
"War" between Google & Microsoft? "Stealing Searches" Controversy,
I always thought it was Google & Microsoft against that fruit that really doesn't represent anything about the tech world, but still has that name.Except maybe abit physics and Newton. Is that where it come from? Whatever haha!
Alliance between Nokia & Microsoft
AND - When is different keyboards coming to WP7? I live and sweden and to be honest, pressing down the a button to get ä & å is alright, but it gets old. Is this coming out in the next big update? Keep us posted!
