In part one of this two-part series, Larry Waldman, Excel Program Manager, discusses how to think about designing Excel solutions for the Web. As the Program Manager for Excel Services extensibility, Larry talks through the power of solutions built on Excel Services and what's now available in SharePoint 2010. This includes some additions to the Excel Web Services as well as the all new Excel REST API and JavaScript object model (JSOM). Using one or all of these APIs in concert allows developers to incorporate Excel Services as a component in much broader Web-based and rich client solutions. Watch as Larry covers this and more.

Is it possible for you to add captions as I am deaf? I want to understand more about excel but no videos are available for people like me.
How about making this accessible for everyone?
Thanks
Tony
For the life of me I can't get this video to run smoothly.
@Tony Clews: Hi Tony, I have passed your request on to the C9 team. Please see my blog post here, http://bit.ly/k52dWk, and here, http://bit.ly/m6cGnG, for the Excel resources that I have just recently posted to MSDN in support of these two videos.
Where can I find a developer who can create the same sort of embedded Excel/Sharepoint website as the "Designing Excel Solutions for the Web" video?
Hi Donovan,
Like Tony, I am Deaf and would love to see the captions too. Hoping that the C9 team does follow up on this request.
Thanks,
David
