    It was mentioned in the show that icon overlays are discouraged from use. If icon overlays are discouraged from being used, what is being recommended as a replacement for them? I don't know of any other method that provides at-a-glance file status information so effectively - even SkyDrive for the desktop uses it.

    that's the question. I have no idea. And the perf argument is just an alibi. Most perf issue with Explorer in Win8 are Defender related. This is the worst tool you an use.This tool kills the perf dramatically and not having those small icons.

    Hardwarewise an example of incompatibility with Hyper-V would be some tape drives whose drivers are only semi-compatible with W8 and backup softwares that do not accept virtualized tape drivers.

    The accent at the end of André is an accent aigu (acute in English). The accent grave is the other way round - è. I conclude that Gov is not from Québec.
