In this episode, Robert is joined by Richard Campbell, co-host of .NET Rocks. They spend their time together reviewing the history of .NET, the subject of a book Richard is working on. They start with why .NET was created and end with .NET Core and they cover lots of milestones in between. Just an informal chat between two guys who have been there for it all.

I watched this on my commute home. Loved it! It brought back memories of so many things, concerning .NET. I've been using .NET since Beta 2. Richard, I'd love to see you write a History of XAML and History of Web Development, after you finish the History of .NET. I've written both XAML based apps and web apps, using .NET (started writing web apps with Beta 2), so I've definitely read both of those books as well.

Thank you very much, Robert and Richard, for this great episode!

Great video! I love hearing about the "history" of something that I am a part of - makes me field old! Do you think Netflix would be interested in the tv/movie rights of the book(s) - it could be a niche market that they would love to engage ;)
