Infrastructure as Code
This is another in Robert's Getting Started series, where he provides an introduction to a topic that everyone knows about but not everyone is actually doing (or doing enough of). In this episode, Robert shows how to get started with source control with Visual Studio Online. You will see how to set up a team project using Visual Studio Online, add a solution to source control, check out and check in source code and how to search, merge and branch the codebase.
Outstanding, thank you for your time!
Very good introduction, not only for beginners ! Thanks Robert :)
Thank you , very much.
Great presentation!
Hi Robert, Great Video. I notice that the memory usage of VS is displayed in the top right corner in your VS 2013. Can you please tell what extension is that? I couldn't find it myself. We are using VS 2013 Ultimate.
@habula:That is an internal only extension. Sorry for the confusion.
Robert
@rogreen: You talked about "show 2" as more Project Mangement inside Visual Studio Online. Maybe sometime later, because it is still interesting!
Which mouse do you use on screen? :)
@Ryur: This was a 1 part show. No part 2.
Robert
Just wanted to say thanks for taking the time to do this - it was a great introduction and I learnt an awful lot in a short space of time.
