This is the second in a series of shows featuring speakers from the VSLive conference, which was held in Redmond in August. In this episode, Robert is joined by Brian Noyes, who shows us Prism 5 for WPF. Prism provides guidance designed to help you more easily design and build rich, flexible, and easy to maintain WPF desktop applications. Brian takes us on a tour of Prism and how easy it is to use it in your applications.

Thank you very much indeed. Could you please publish a hands-on-lab video , to let us have a good jump start as well.

    Thank you.
    This was really interesting.
I would love to see some Hands-on Videos for each Prism Application Block.

    Very interesting video.

It would be great to get some more details on universal implementation and usage.

It would be very helpful, if there was a short video with description of specific things in toolkit for universal apps, like:
    - what exactly can be shared in terms of the toolkit?
    - how automatic viewmodel mapping will work for the shared views?

    Thanks in advance.

@issam: WPF is a great technology for desktop apps and thank you for your comment!

    yeah I agree.
for the most part I am a desktop developer, and I'd say:

you guys have done an amazing job with WPF !!!! really!

it is powerful, beautifully flexible, and much, much more advanced than most if not every solution on the market for this platform.

I hope only that it will receive more and more love from microsoft in the near future ;)

Thanks for the video guys keep them coming.

@lifter thanks for the link to Brian's excellent blog on Prism 5 validation. Thinking of changing my validation from IDataErrorInfo to INotifyDataErrorInfo.

    @Sari: Agree with you!

Also I must say that I just wonder how do add stackpanel control to a window object at run time.
