      Hi James,

Great, short and to the point. Maybe you could make the same for android, now when the Xamarin android player has been deprecated we really need at faster alternative on the mac. A bit like the one we have when using visual studio.

Is there any plans to support MS Android simulator for Windows 7 ?

@Rasmus Christensen: I cover that in the first snack pack: the google HAXM emulators are great on Mac.

@exim: That doesn't really relate to this video and I don't work on that team, but I assume not as they are Hyper-V enabled and their docs say: ou can only install the Visual Studio Emulator for Android on an operating system where Hyper-V is supported. Examples of where Hyper-V is not supported include Windows 7, non-Windows machines, and inside another Hyper-V VM.

Thanks @JamesMontemagno, my bad. Just found the show now. The small snack pack has a great size, focus and well presented.

      Very helpful James.

      Just one question, please...

When Visual Studio Emulator for Android will make Android 7.0 Nougat virtual device?

      Thank you James,

May I ask have you tried setting up the Mac agent through '' ? which of their options can I use if I am planning to develop on a windows machine with visual studio? I read somewhere that with the iOS simulator for windows you only need to be connected to the Mac agent the first time round, is that true?

Xamarin is taking the mobile development on multi-platform by storm.

Thanks for the nice demo James!
