Today I'm having a chat with Doug Mahugh from Microsoft Open Technologies at OSCON 2014 in Portland, OR. Doug gives us a good overview of the great, community driven efforts of MS Open Tech - a subsidiary of Microsoft that aims to create strong interoperability links between Microsoft and open source software entities.
It's pretty great to imagine the combination of strengths here and Doug has a lot of knowledge about the overall strategies and the open source frameworks that are being enabled on Microsoft's platforms today.
For more geeky details on some of the specific technologies, don't miss my interview with Doug's colleague Olivier Bloch as well.
