Securing your Azure App Service application using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) is easy once you learn how. We've recorded several screencasts to help you configure SSL in your app.
Purchase an App Service Certificate (1 min 55 sec)
An App Service Certificate can be purchased from the Azure portal. You can then use this App Service Certificate in any of your App Service applications easily. This screencast walks you through purchasing an App Service Certificate.
Upload an SSL Certificate (1 min 36 sec)
If you have purchased your own SSL certificate from a certificate authority (CA), you can easily use that certificate with your App Service applications. This screencast shows you how to upload your SSL certificate to your App Service app.
Create an SSL Binding (3 min 1 sec)
Once you have added an SSL certificate, you'll need to create one or more SSL bindings. This screencast shows you how to do that, and we also point out a common mistake many people make with wildcard certificates.
Remove SSL Bindings and Certificates (1 min 47 sec)
If you want to use a certificate with a different App Service application, you'll need to remove your SSL bindings and the certificate. In this screencast, we show you how to do that.
We decided to break these tasks into smaller videos so that you can watch only the ones you need. We'd love to hear your feedback on how we've presented this! We create these videos for you, and we want them to be as helpful as possible. If you have any comments or feedback, please add them below.
