After the devastating earthquake hit Nepal in April 2015 The Microsoft Innovation Center in Kathmandu realized that it needed to support recovery in many ways. 
Protecting vulnerable people whose lives have been upended became a quick priority. Utilizing an Appathon the MIC was able to quickly develop an app that can track people and stop human traffickers from taking advantage of this tragedy. 
This is their story.
