Akka.NET is an open-source toolkit and runtime for building highly concurrent, distributed, and fault tolerant event-driven applications using the Actor Model paradigm. It is a port of the Akka framework that we know from the world of Scala. Microsoft also provides a framework for building solutions using the Actor Model paradigm. Reliable Actors is an application framework that you can use to build applications for Service Fabric, Microsoft's new platform for building highly scalable and reliable applications. In this session, Wiljag and Sander will talk about the differences and similarities between the two platforms.
