My name is Andrew Ritz and I am the development manager for the Windows networking core. I joined Microsoft in 1996 and have worked on a number of areas in Windows including the Windows kernel. In addition to leading our development efforts I have been involved with numerous standards bodies including the ACPI which focuses on the interface between hardware and software. I have a B.S. in Computer Engineering from University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign. When I am not improving connectivity in Windows I can usually be found spending time with my two grade school daughters, shuttling them to all their fun activities, hiking, or swimming.
