Lync 2013: Translate a conversation from one language to another in real time, part two
Download this episode
This is the second part of a two-part video about a Lync sample application that does real-time translation of IM text in a Lync conversation. If you want to see the sample application itself in action, watch part one. Part two shows some of the key methods and events used to create this application.
Note -- the Azure app ID used in this sample is deprecated. Get a new Azure OAuth client ID and secret from http://datamarket.azure.com/dataset/bing/microsofttranslator. Find the 'Register an application' link at the bottom of the page. On the registration page, get the client ID and secret.
You will need to modify the code in the sample to use the new Azure authentication method. The sample application now published on MSDN will be updated and republished.
